Bruno S. ist weltweit berühmt geworden für seine Rollen in Werner Herzog-Filmen, von denen "Stroszek" einer der bekanntesten ist. Das Leben und Werk von Bruno S. lädt zu mythischen Spekulationen ein. Für viele seiner internationalen Verehrer gilt er als verschollen. Der Film, der auf der Berlinale 2003 erfolgreich startete, und das Buch werden sie eines Besseren belehren. Aphorisms, quotations, and drawings by Bruno Schleinstein as an addition to Miron Zownir's film of the same name about and with Bruno S. In this book, the photographer and filmmaker Miron Zownir presents us found aphorisms by the Gesamtkunstwerk creator Bruno S. Bruno S. became famous worldwide for his roles in films by Werner Herzog, of which the movie "Stroszek" is one of the most well-known. The life and work of Bruno S. invites to mythical speculations. For many of his international admirers he is considered to have gone missing. The film, which was successfully launched at the Berlinale in 2003, and the book will show them otherwise. The book contains accompanying texts by authors and artists who came to know Bruno S.' life after the Herzog era: Nico Anfuso, Harry Hass, Thomas Kapielski, Klaus Theuerkauf, Phillip Virus, and others.

Bruno S. died in Berlin on the 11th of August 2010.
